Save this as a spiced comforting drink to make a part of your nighttime routine. Feel free to use whatever milk, tea, or sweetener you prefer. If you don’t have a milk frother, a blender will also work, but be mindful of the hot milk.
Note: The two opened ashwagandha pills equal about 1/2 tsp. of powder.
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
2 Nature’s Sunshine Ashwagandha pills, opened
2 bags chamomile tea
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. dried edible rose petals, garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the boiling water over the tea bags in a large mug, making sure to cover the tea bags. Add a small saucer or lid on top of the mug. Let it steep for five minutes, and then remove the tea bags.
Warm the milk in a small saucepan for two minutes (or until warm) or in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Add the milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and the opened Ashwagandha pills to a heatproof jar or cup and foam with a frother for about 20 to 30 seconds. You can also use a blender for 20 to 30 seconds, but make sure the lid is on tight.
Pour the frothed milk over the tea and garnish with a sprinkle of dried edible rose petals.
