HS-C is a TCM tonic formula relating to the Fire Element and the seat of fire being the heart, nerves and glands.

Risk Information: Consult a practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, family history of cancer, peptic ulcer, an auto-immune disorder or if you are taking immunosuppressants, antidepressants, blood thinners, digoxin, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy. Take as directed by a TCM practitioner. Do not use if you are pregnant/breastfeeding or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, a cardiovascular disorder, diarrhea, hemorrhagic diseases, heavy periods or allergies to the Apiaceae family. According to TCM, do not use in cases of yin deficiency with heat signs, heat excess, dampness with spleen deficiency, in the absence of significant qi deficiency, cough with profuse sputum, diarrhea due to cold, or fullness and distension caused by qi stagnation. If you experience insomnia, anxiety, headaches or allergies, stop use. If you experience breast pain/discomfort or if your menstruation is delayed/irregular, stop use and consult a practitioner. If symptoms persist/worsen/develop, consult a practitioner.
