How it Works
CardioxLDL is a herbal formula designed to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and provides antioxidants to help cells fight against the oxidative damage caused by free radicals. It combines Citrus bergamia extract with a proprietary, high-ORAC (antioxidant) blend of nine fruits and plant extracts, which works in part by blocking an enzyme the liver needs to produce damaging LDL cholesterol. While technically an orange, bergamot fruit more closely resembles a lime or lemon with a bumpy outer peel that ranges from pale green to yellow. If you’ve ever sipped a cup of Earl Grey tea, you’re familiar with bergamot’s aroma and flavour. Our bergamot fruit grows along the southern coast of Italy in the town of Bergamo. Bergamot fruit is bursting with polyphenols, naturally occurring antioxidants that scavenge free radicals in the body. The story behind CardioxLDL™
NSP scientists studying the molecular activity of cholesterol realized that oxidized LDL negatively affects the healthy function of the cardiovascular system. So they set out to create a product designed to help reduce cholesterol oxidation. Our researchers analyzed phytonutrients to see which ones had the best effect on cholesterol production and oxidation. Bergamot, a type of sour orange, was a clear winner. Its naturally occurring antioxidants scavenge free radicals. We found a terrific source of bergamot in Italy’s Calabria region where our organically grown and hand-harvested fruit is simply bursting with polyphenols. We kept working and discovered a powerful blend of herbal antioxidants that synergistically enhance bergamot’s effects. A clinically studied, patented blend (US patent #10,434,131), CardioxLDL naturally supports cholesterol levels in the normal range and modulates the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Citrus bergamia (bergamot orange) fruit 250 mg standardized to 28% bioflavonoids, Curcuma longa (turmeric) root, rhizome 30 mg standardized to 92% curcuminoids, Malus domestica (apple) fruit 30 mg standardized to 75% polyphenols, Camellia sinensis (green tea extract) leaf 15 mg standardized to 80% polyphenols, 60% catechins, 30% epigallocatechin 3-gallate, Capsicum annuum (cayenne) fruit 5 mg, Garcinia mangostana (mangosteen) fruit pericarp 5 mg extract, Olea europaea (olive leaf) leaf 5 mg standardized to 12% oleuropein, Vitis vinifera (grape seed extract) seed 5 mg standardized to 85% polyphenols and Vaccinium angustifolium (blueberry) fruit 4 mg.
