The story behind Methyl Combo

Folic acid requires four enzymatic conversions before becoming the biologically active methyltetrahydrofolate. Similarly, vitamin B12 must pass through three enzymatic conversions before it becomes methylcobalamin. But some people don’t have the enzymes needed to make these conversions. A World Health Organization study concluded that “deficiencies of [folate and vitamin B12] may be a public health problem that could affect many millions of people throughout the world.”

Methyl Combo was specifically designed to provide bioavailable forms of both B12 and folate. These two influential vitamins contribute to the methionine synthesis cycle.
