The story behind Silver Shield BIOGUARD Hand & Body Cream
In the spring of 2020, NSP product developers worked overtime to create both our Silver Shield BioGuard Hand & Body Cream and its partner product Silver Shield Purifying Hand Cleanser. We wanted to provide a powerful, moisturizing cream that would help protect hands being washed and sanitized more than ever. Our team took a base of 20 ppm Silver Shield, known for its cleansing benefits, and added one of nature’s oldest moisturizers, coconut oil. Rich in MCTs, coconut oil dates back at least to 1500 BC in Ayurvedic medicine records. Then they added Vitamin E, a nutrient that helps protect skin from the effects of sun damage by scavenging free radicals. Along with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E is now a popular ingredient in many skin care formulations. Finally natural glycerin supports soft, smooth and supple skin. Our triple-action Hand & Body Cream is the perfect partner to BioGuard Purifying Hand Cleanser.
